Petitcodiac Riverkeeper is active on
many fronts. In this section you can keep up to date on the major
developments in our various campaigns as well as the protection
and restoration efforts of the Petitcodiac River and its tributaries.
Petitcodiac River Award
The
Petitcodiac River Award is meant to publicly recognize individuals
or groups that have made a significant contribution to the protection
of the Petitcodiac River ecosystem, its water quality, its habitat
and the living species that depend on it.

Environment Canada’s Office of Enforcement for the Atlantic
Region, located in Halifax, won the 2003 Petitcodiac River Award.
