Dieppe Wants the River Restored

(Moncton - February 27, 2001) - The Town of Dieppe added its voice of support yesterday to the Petitcodiac Riverkeeper proposal to restore full tidal flow in the Petitcodiac River by replacing a portion of the causeway with a bridge span. Dieppe became the 7th community in the watershed, after Fort Folly, Salisbury, Dorchester, Memramcook, Elgin and Petitcodiac to lend its support to the restoration effort.
